Recommended

- the man working at the front desk was super nice, also very helpful whenever I needed - the room was clean and also quote big compared to other hotel rooms in Seoul within this price range - good location - close to the metro station, walking distance from Myeongdong (15 - 20 minutes) - reasonably priced

- breakfast is the same every day and if you don't like Korean-style breakfast, your options are very limited (basically just toast and corn flakes) - the towels are quite old

I stayed in the female dormitory and the room was nice and comfortable and plus points to their huge locker which you can use while you want to stroll around without worrying.

only problem is their shared toilette, its not clean and there are 3 doors which i dont know the other 2 is not functioning.

The kettle inside looked burnt. I didn't dare to drink the water I boiled. There was no instruction that the toilet paper cannot be thrown into toilet bowl. I think it is overpriced for a motel.

It felt like a home away from home.

It felt like a home away from home. Everyone in the dorm rooms was so kind even if there was a slight language barrier. The rooms were cleaned every day and a fresh set of towels every day as well, it was a nice small hotel, great for solo travelers and families. It is in a great location with the train stations and bus stops only a few minutes walk away, not to mention also a short walk from the shopping area. The staff is so kind and friendly and really helped me for my first time overseas by myself. The food was also really nice. I would gladly stay there again.

Bed sheet, pillow cases, towels are used for long time. As restaurants and karaoke rooms are nearby, people will talk and laugh on the street. It is quite noisy. Also, can smell the smoke from the street.

Great place if you travel on a budget

The room has a no-eating rule so it's tidy. The beds are clean and comfortable. The owner is friendly and helpful. Because my arrival and departure flights are either too early or too late for check in and check out and I have other places to go, he kept my luggage at the hotel for hours with no charged fees, which was a big help. Bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel prepared, so you don't have to bring much (good for those who travel light). The hotel is a 3-minute walk to Exit 10 of Euljiro-3 subway station. For meals, if you don't want to eat at the hotel, there is a Chinese restaurant on the way to the subway exit, and inside the subsway exit is Tour le jours and Paris Baguette, so there are many options for a quick meal.

The bathroom is a bit of a hassle to use because it didn't have anywhere to hang your clothes and trash bin. Toilet trash bin should be cleared more often. Also, beware that the socket is small, so big adapters might not fit in (including the universal adapter that you can purchase at convenience stores) and the hotel does not have other type of adapter. In the end, I purchased a portable electric socket at Daiso for convenience.

Sadly failed to impress even remotely.

The Korean male staff (he might be the manager/boss?) was very nice and helpful. The location is actually very convenient with a few buses available just on the main street.

The place was surprisingly not as clean as I expected. I found dust bunnies and things that previous guests dropped in the tiny gap between the bed and the wall. The towels are old and have permanent dark stains on them which made me feel really uncomfortable about using. The toilet seat is smaller so it does not match the bowl, which means I ended up sitting directly on the toilet bowl partially. There is no lid on top of the toilet bowl tank, I have no idea why. I was super paranoid that I might accidentally drop my stuff into it since the sink has hardly any room to place anything on it. The bed is on one side of the room and the only electrical outlets available were on the complete opposite side, and in the bathroom. I had to sit on the hard wooden chair to use my phone as it charged. After a while it got really uncomfortable. Would have been nice if I could have relaxed in my bed while using my phone! I tried the breakfast once and decided that it was not worth getting up in the mornings for. But I wouldn't say it was too terrible, especially for the price you pay. The Chinese speaking male staff was really rude and made us feel like he hated having us around. He never smiled or tried to make us feel welcome. I'm not sure why he's in the hospitality business when he clearly hates people. My friend was chilling out in the basement dining area while waiting for me in the morning, and he demanded to know what her room number was, for no reason other than that she was sitting there. Maybe he thought she was some free loader waiting for breakfast to be ready, but who would do that for the mediocre breakfast?! The sounds from the corridor really carry into the room, so at 7am each morning, I got woken up by the female staff who I assume is a housekeeper, closing cupboards and making a lot of noise with her pails and other cleaning equipment.

Walking distance to Myeong dong. The staff is kind. Elevator for our big fat luggages.

The room and towel are a bit old. The hotel is in a small alley that quite isolated and deserted in late night (22.00 onward).

Nice location and very affordable. Covers the basic needs for a hostel stay.

Huge lockers inside the dorm room, very affordable prices, good location within walking distance to shopping district and metro. Washing and drying machine available without extra cost.

The women's bathroom and shower room are 3 floors apart (inconvenience), no trash can or tissue paper inside shower room, wifi password printed inconsistently (in one piece of paper it says numbers only, in another piece of paper it says letters and numbers); shower room once locked, someone cannot use the password to enter (I tried many times and was not able to get in) so the shower room once in use it's really for one person at a time which means more wait for the next person and it's inconvenient.

Breakfast is great. It is buffet with a lot of choices at the beginning of breakfast. Rooms are spacious. Lights in the rooms for different parts. Electric outlets is near every bed. Washing machine is available. Close to metro station.
